my baby is 6 1/2 months and was exclusively breast-fed. have now began solids. Baby is still breastfed but i'v been trying to wean him for a while now and it all goes down in a huge messy heap. ~he won't take a bottle ~i feel i'v had enough and need my body back ~iv tried offering bottle at various times including while he's in different moods and at different stages of hunger ~i'v tried my hubby & mum & sister giving him the bottle-big fail ~iv tried gradually making small changes like not offering breast at bed time and filling up on solids with added formular but he just screams for that boob and seems starving then settles and self soothes straight after a breastfeed. i'v been sucked right in to the breastfeeding trap and i can't get out, i can't make a break. i dont know what to do next. please if anyone has any advice.. ps, he happily eats his solids and happily eats the formular mixed in rice cereals. it's been about 10 weeks of me constantly trying to wean him onto formular and i'v tried bottles, cups, sippy cups, magmags, etc... thanks for taking the time to read my post
